Fascinated by intricacy, I delight in creating art which tempts viewers into exploring a harmonized myriad of colours, textures, and concepts. Although my journey as a painter and illustrator began in childhood, I was 15 when I became a serious student of henna art and dubbed my endeavour Mehndi Nomadic. Since then, this herbal friend has been a constant thread in my wandering life by accompanying me on journeys and enabling countless moments of great festivity and tenderness. In 2017 I completed a degree in Asian Studies at the University of British Columbia with a focus on Indian & Pakistani history, literature, arts, and language (Hindi, Urdu & Farsi).
